until...a swarm settled in the tree of our shady spot. Don't get me wrong Dad I love our flying friends with stingers, but not that many - that close to my little boy!
Here we are playing in the river and at the campsite.
We are enjoying the campfire once it cooled off. Notice how he had to be just like mommy and rest his feet on the cement fire pit.
One tired mutt after an eventful weekend camping! Topher crashed the last afternoon/evening we were there and we couldn't get him up he was so exhausted.

Looks like fun!! Seeing that makes me sad we didn't get to do the family reunion this year :-( My husband doesn't love camping so we only get to go if it is a family thing. You boy is darling, and soooo big now. Time flies it is crazy!
