The past few months he has had an obcession for shoes. He has discovered that they are the key to the great outdoors. He finds his shoes bring them over to me and sits in my lap so I can put them on. It is his way of telling me that he is ready to run free in the yard. Here is the big boy playing with his newest pair of shoes. He loves his big boy tennis shoes (don't mind the drool, he's cutting a molar)
More recently he has discovered mommy's shoes, and if you know anything about me you'll know that there is not a shortage of mommy's shoes. These shoes are a real joy for him to play with, especially the flip flops because he can figure out how to put these ones on. He will get one on each foot and then he is off, but gets very discouraged if one falls off. It is fun to watch him figure out how everything in the world works and that shoes can take you on great adventures.
